The arrival of three new astronauts on the International Space Station completes the Expedition 54 crew
A little while ago the Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft, which blasted off about two days ago from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, has reached the International Space Station carrying three new crew members. Scott Tingle of NASA, Anton Shkaplerov of Roscosmos and Norishige Kanai of JAXA now complete the Expedition 54 crew.
Mission CRS-13: the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has reached the International Space Station
A little while ago the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft was captured by the Canadarm2 robotic arm on the International Space Station. Mark Vande Hei, assisted by his colleague Joe Acaba, managed the operation then started moving the Dragon to the berthing point at the Harmony module. The cargo spacecraft blasted off last Friday.
The return of three astronauts from the International Space Station marks the end of Expedition 53
A little while ago the astronauts Randy Bresnik and Paolo Nespoli and the cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky returned to Earth on the Soyuz MS-05 spacecraft, that landed without problems in Kazakhstan. The three of them spent almost 5 months on the International Space Station, where they arrived on July 28, 2017 as part of Expedition 52.
Mission Orb-8 accomplished: the Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft has reached the International Space Station
The Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft, launched on November 12, has just reached the International Space Station and was captured by Canadarm2 robotic arm. Astronaut Paolo Nespoli, assisted by his colleague Randy Bresnik, will soon begin the slow maneuver to move the Cygnus until it docks with the Station’s Harmony node after about two hours.
