Mission CRS-10: the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has reached the International Space Station
A little while ago the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft was captured by the robotic arm Canadarm2 on the International Space Station. Thomas Pesquet, assisted by his colleague Shane Kimbrough, managed the operation then started moving the Dragon to the berthing point at the Harmony module. The cargo spacecraft blasted off last Sunday.
A success for the launch of the Russian cargo spaceship Progress MS-5 to the International Space Station
A few hours ago the Progress MS-5 spacecraft blasted off atop a Soyuz U rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. After about nine minutes it successfully separated from the rocket’s last stage and was placed on it route. The cargo spacecraft began its resupply mission to the International Space Station also called Progress 66.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft blasted off for its CRS-10 mission for NASA
A little while ago SpaceX Dragon spacecraft blasted off atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral in its CRS-10 (Cargo Resupply Service 10) mission, also referred to as SPX-10. After almost ten minutes it separated successfully from the rocket’s last stage and went en route. This is the tenth mission for the Dragon spacecraft to resupply the International Space Station with various cargoes and then return to Earth, again with various cargoes.
The Japanese spacecraft HTV-6 has reached the International Space Station
A little while ago the HTV-6 “Kounotori” spacecraft has been captured by the robotic arm Canadarm2 on the International Space Station, operated by Shane Kimbrough with the assistance of Thomas Pesquet. The Japanese space cargo ship, which blasted off last Friday, carries a huge amount of supplies and experiments. After its capture, it will take a little while before the HTV-6 starts getting moved to its berthing location on the Harmony module.
